Regina Wright-Luibel

September 2, 1941 — July 29, 2020

Boulder City

Regina Wright-Luibel, born September 2, 1941, passed July 29, 2020.  She was born in Denver, Colorado, married Stephen James Luibel on August 23, 1992 and had settled in Boulder City, Nevada September 2017.

Regina loved traveling and any opportunity to dress to the nines and celebrate life with family and friends. She enjoyed her sorority work supporting groups that helped feed and clothe the less fortunate.   She was a friend to everyone she met and her cheery, comical blundering nature was so contagious that her co-workers coined the phrase "You just pulled a Gina".

Regina was a devoted and adoring wife, but considered her greatest role to be that of a Mother and Grandmother.  She sought to instill in her children a zest for life, commitment to family, friends and our Heavenly Father.  She enjoyed sharing fashion tips with the girls and passing down family traditions and recipes to her children.  Regina faced adversity with courage and dignity and though small in stature, she was a force to be reckoned with.

Preceding Regina in death is her Mother, Josephine Genevieve Vendegna Wright in 1989 and Son, Joseph Mathew Griffin in 1969.

Regina is survived by her loving husband, Stephen James Luibel; father, Raymond Marion Wright, Sr.; sister, Jody Mae (Ronnie) Ewig; brother; Raymond Marion (Carol) Wright, Jr.; two daughters; Anna Marie Griffin and Kimberly Jo (Robert Lee) Maddux; son, Larry Dean (Michelle) Griffin; four grandchildren; Angela (Thomas) Speers, Jessica Lee Mendez, Amber Rochelle Remme, Dylan Michael (Audrey) Griffin, eleven great grandchildren; Thomas Joseph Speers, Naomi Estrella Mendez, Amaya Lynn Mendez, Lily Faith Mendez, Jordan Manny Mendez, Nikko Jaiden Mendez, Silas Noah Mendez, Apple Gracen Remme, Olivia Rae Watt, Winston Junior Griffin and Kaylee Tawnie Klug-Giffin.
