Robert Arden

Robert "Bob" Arden, age 75, a longtime resident of Boulder City passed away on July, 28, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on September 1, 1935 in Flint, Michigan to Theodore and Melva March Arden.

Bob was always great at what he did. He was a painter, carpenter, and highly skilled craftsman. He was known as a "Master of All Trades". While he lived in Texas, Bob was very competitive in circle track racing and had a room full of trophies that expressed his abilities. While living in California, he competed in drag racing and in Nevada he was a loyal fan during his son Tim's drag racing career. He had a strong faith and was an Elder in the Christian Center Church. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda; his children Doug Arden (Sue), Dennis Arden (Angela), Patty Arden, Tim J. Arden (Teresa), Tim D. Arden, Tom Arden, Terri (Jim) Aylward; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Richard Pawloski, aunt Celia Nott, sisters-in-law Cheri Leseberg (Mark) and Judi Emerich, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Christian Center Church, 571 Adams Blvd., Boulder City. Burial followed the service at 1:20 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Center Church or Alzheimer's Association. Funeral Arrangements were under the care of Boulder City Family Mortuary.
