In 1963 Bob met the love of his life Vickie Scow and the two were married on May, 8, 1964, beginning 61 years of partnership, devotion, adventure, and unwavering love. He then enlisted into the United States Army in October 1964.
Together they welcomed a daughter Robin Lyn and 2 years later a son Travis Wade. As a family of four, they built a lifetime of memories camping, hiking, fishing, and traveling in their well-loved truck and camper, affectionately known as Kermit.’
Bob worked for Western Electric and later for Delta Air Lines, where he formed lifelong friendships and was admired for his steady work ethic, loyalty, and humor. Beyond work, Bob lived his passions boldly. He loved classic cars, the car culture, and the community that came with it.
