Robert Daniel Taylor

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert Daniel Taylor, who was affectionately known as "Bobby." Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Mark Jackson Taylor and Jacqueline Schofield Taylor, Bobby was a beacon of joy and love from the start, adored by his parents and older siblings.

Bobby's life was a beautiful journey through the familiar streets of Las Vegas, from his playful days at Beatty E.S. and Thurman White M.S., to his high school years at Del Sol H.S. where he excelled in sports-particularly bowling, golf, and fitness training. Bobby served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ and thereafter attended UNLV, proudly earning his degree in finance. His talents knew no bounds, and each chapter of his life was filled with achievements and heartfelt connections, as he gave his all to everything he touched.

Above all, Bobby cherished his role as a devoted father to Scotland ("Scottie"), his heart's greatest treasure and pride & joy. His eyes would light up and his entire countenance would beam at the mere mention of Scottie, as she was his world.

Predeceased by his father in his early 20s, Bobby navigated life with resilience, cherishing his mother and daughter, his siblings and their spouses, extended family, and friends. He was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him, captivating all he came in contact with through his sharp wit and sense of humor.

Bobby is survived by his beautiful daughter, Scotland Grey, and her mother, Brekyn Sluyter; his loving mother, Jacqueline Schofield Taylor (Mark, deceased); his siblings, Jennifer Longman (Greg), Stephanie Hanchett (Jon), Christie Skrinak (Jason), Mark Taylor (Chrissy), Sarah Hubbard (Jacob), Natalie Staley (Larry), John Taylor (Lesley); and his beloved 26 nieces and nephews, two grandnieces, and one grandnephew.
Bobby's legacy is one of love, laughter, and an enduring mark of a life well-lived.
