Roland Zink

Roland Lee Zink passed away on  02/3/2021.  Her was born on 01/23/1936 in born in St. Joseph, MI to Evelyn (Yetzke) Zink and George Zink. A graduate of El Monte High School (Calif.) where Roland was a standout track and field athlete, he entered the United States Air Force after high school and served as an enlisted airman at several bases, including a tour in Okinawa Japan.

A longtime resident of Boulder City NV and Long Beach CA. Roland was a partner in the family business for many years in Long Beach, CA.  He was active as an Elks Lodge member as well as the Am Vets.  He enjoyed golf, boating and traveling to his favorite vacation destination Maui, Hawaii.

Roland was a loving father and friend, he is survived by his children Linda Thomas, Douglas Zink (daughter in-law, Gwen) Laura Sergeant, Julie Sorrels (son in-law Michael, grandchildren Austin, Tyler and Mackenzie) and John Zink. Brothers Charles and Dennis Zink, well as many nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be 02/22/21 at 1040am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemtery, viewing with be 02/21/21 3-5pm at the Boulder City Family mortuary from.
