Boulder City

Rosalina (Rosalie) Josephine Coniglio passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2024. She was born March 12, 1935, in New York, New York, to parents Joseph and Felicia (Zeccola) Sessa. Rosalie's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family, friends, and animals.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Antoinette DeSantis; her children: Ross Coniglio (Kim), Roxanne Dey (Bill), and Ron Coniglio; her adored grandchildren: Hannah Dey (Max Johnson), Sarah Dey, Renee Arend, and Dakota Coniglio (Hannah); and her great-grandchildren Caleb, Colton, and Carly Coniglio, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

In the early 1970s, the Coniglio family made Boulder City their home. On Rawhide Road, Rosalie found a community filled with wonderful friends and neighbors who enriched her life. Known for her compassionate heart and nurturing spirit, she rescued numerous dogs, desert tortoises, and many other animals, providing them with loving homes. Her rescue dog, Gracie, is 19 years old and her desert tortoise, Jasmine, is 27, both living testaments to her lifelong dedication to animal welfare.

Rosalie's family fondly remembers her as a woman of great warmth, generosity, strength, and resilience. She was an active member of St. Andrews Catholic Community, where she found spiritual solace and fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Coniglio; beloved siblings: John (Concetta) Sessa, Carmela (Guido) Moscatello, Angelina (Joseph) Bologna, Dominick (Raffaella) Sessa, Dominick DeSantis (brother-in-law), and Mary DeMicco (Philly); and other extended family members.

The Coniglio and Dey families extend their heartfelt gratitude to: Nathan Adelson Hospice, St. Andrews Catholic Community (especially Auxiliary Bishop Greg Gordon, Deacon Tim O'Callaghan, and Rev. Bede Wevita), Debbie O'Brien, Jeannine Baughman Hassoldt, and Sherry Forbes for their unwavering support during Rosalie's final days.
