Rosalva Gomez De Flores

Rosalva Flores, age 63, of Mesquite, NV passed away on January 29, 2024 at her home.  She was born in Mexico on July 15, 1960 to Bernadino Gomez and Victoria Rodriguez.  She married Benito Flores in Mexico in 1976.  They moved to Mesquite from Wendover, UT in 1997.  

Rosalva was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for her family and others.  She also enjoyed knitting and gardening.  Her favorite thing to do was being with her grandchildren.

Rosalva is survived by six children, Victor Flores, Benito (Lourdes) Flores Jr., Marisa (Gerardo) Moreno, Cristina (Armando) Honorato, Jesus Flores, Melissa Flores; 18 grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her husband Benito Flores SR and a son Daniel Flores.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at the La Virgen de Guadalupe Catholic Church 401 Canyon Crest Blvd, Mesquite, NV 89027. Visitation will also be from 9 to 10 am on Monday, Feb 5, 2024 at the church with funeral mass starting at 10 am.  Burial will follow the mass at the Bunkerville Cemetery.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.starmortuary.com
