Ruea "Mickey" Reed

Ruea “Mickey” Reed was born August 16, 1931 to C.B. and Mary (nee Madaus) Nichols in Bucklin KS.  Mickey had three brothers, Gerald, Morris and Allen.  She married Robert A. Reed in 1949 in Wichita KS and had four children—Kyle, Karen, Kristopher and Kym.  Mickey lived, raised kids and worked as a bookkeeper in Anaheim CA.  The family moved to Boulder City in 1966 and Mickey worked for a Las Vegas general contractor until her retirement.  Mickey died on July 29, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, husband of 44 years and son, Kyle.  She is survived by her children, Karen, Kris and Kym, daughters-in-law, Kim and Leslie, granddaughters, Diana, Gloria and Teresa and great-grandchild, Moss.  A kind and loving person, Mickey will be honored with a celebration of her life at a later time.
