Russell David Piche, age 94, of Boulder City, NV went home to his Heavenly Father on January 7, 2015. Russell was born on October 23, 1920 in Fall River, MA to Arthur and Sarah Newton Piche. Russell married Earlene Tattersal who preceded him in death and he later married Sandra R Jensen. During World War II he served in the United State Army Air Corp and was very proud of his service.
Russell had a passion for travel and traveled in many countries as well as the United States. He enjoyed woodworking and photography. Russell worked in the Aircraft Industry with experimental engines and loved working with jet engines. His true love was his family and enjoyed spending time and visiting with them. He was a gentle man that made friends everywhere he went. Russell loved the Lord and attended Centeral Christian Church in Henderson, NV.
Russell is survived by his wife Sandra R Piche of NV; daughter Marcela (Fred) Moates of FL; step-daughter Lori (Robert) Krampitz of NV; a brother Arthur Piche of CT; two sisters Viola (Joe) Tokarz of FL, Elaine Pritchard of FL; three grandchildren Chris (Maggie) Moates of PA, Andy Moates of SC, Layna Coursey of VT; three great grandchildren Macy, Jennifer, and Erica. He is preceded in death by his first wife Earlene Tattersal; sister Marie Herminie Hitrick; Brother Harold Piche.
Russell was cremated and cremated remains were placed at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
