Sally Jan Marriot Finch

Sally Jan Marriot Finch, known to everyone as “Jan”, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2026, in Mesquite, Nevada surrounded by family, at the age of 78. 

Born in 1947 in Tucumcari, New Mexico, she grew up in Las Vegas. Jan raised her family in Denver. She has happily lived the last 5 years in Mesquite. 

She is survived by her life partner, Michael Carter; her two sons Travis and Vance; Kayla Fender and Margi Finch Chandler; The light of her life her granddaughter Eila; 3 estranged granddaughters; childhood friend, Donna Toussaint; several cousins and dear friends in Mesquite and Denver. Her warmth and love are greatly missed.
