Sandra Lyn Walsh

Sandra Lyn Walsh age 83, of Mesquite, NV passed away on January 3, 2024.  She was born on June 8, 1940 in Logan, UT to William Horlacker and Nellie Dunford Horlacker.  She married James K Walsh on December 5, 1983 in Elko, NV.  James was born March 1, 1939 to James Walsh and Blanche Ophelia Headlee Walsh. James and Sandra left Taylorsville in 1998 and moved to Southern Utah and eventually Mesquite, NV. 

Sandra enjoyed doing puzzles, and watching tv with some of her favorite movies be the first Harry Potter, Titanic, and Ever After.  Sandra was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  James was raised Irish Catholic.  He joined the Navy at 18 and witnessed the testing of the Nuclear Bomb in the Pacific and traveled much with the Navy.  He enjoyed doing handyman work around the house as Sandra cared for the home.  He also enjoyed golfing and fishing.  Being together was what they enjoyed the most and they celebrating being back together now.  James passed on July 6, 2015.  Sandra had missed him so much since he passed.

They are survived by two children Jamie Walsh and Cody Walsh; and three grandchildren Gavin, Emily, and Brielle.

Sandra will be cremated and her cremated remains will be with James.  They will be placed at a later date in Logan, UT.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.starmortuary.com.
