Shannon Barrett

Shannon Michelle Barrett, age 43, passed away on September 18, 2018 at her home in Boulder City, Nevada.  She was born on November 14, 1974 in Duluth, Minnesota to Rosemary and Douglas Thompson.  Shannon moved from Pensacola, Florida in 1987 with her family to Boulder City, Nevada where she graduated from Boulder City High School in 1992.

Shannon enjoyed hiking in the desert, rock hounding, reading Fantasy books, and had a beautiful fairy collection.  She loved to travel and loved boots! Shannon always had a happy countenance and she loved meeting new people. Shannon’s son Alex was her pride and joy and her fondest moments were her times spent with him.

Shannon is preceded in death by her mother, twin sister Sharon, and her nephew Eric.  Shannon is survived by her father; son Alex; sister Shawna Thompson; and a large extended family.
