Susan Wilkinson

April 10, 1937 — December 19, 2017

Susan (Pixie) Wilkinson, 80, passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 19, 2017.  She is the daughter of Joseph Von Raab and Elizabeth Murphy.  Pixie was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on April 10, 1937.

Pixie graduated from Boulder City H.S. and spent several years working for St. Jude’s Ranch and the Bureau of Reclamation.  She then went on to work the most fulfilling job of her life; Mother and Housewife.  Pixie was an active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, teaching youth groups for many years.

Pixie’s love of life was evident in all her activities.  She was an avid tennis player, a master gardener and a world traveler.  She was happiest at church and with her animals.

Pixie is survived by her loving husband, Ben Wilkinson, her sister Skippy (Gary) Ashtown and two sister-in-laws Lois and Dorcus Robinson.  Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children and grandchildren; Lisa (Harry) Ray, Kelly (Harvey) Pearson, Carrie (Patrick) Little, David Patton, Lori (Timothy) Connelly, and David Wilkinson.  Grandchildren; Kristin, Brendan, Isabel, Scarlett and Andy.

Her Great Grandchild, Cruz, will have his Grandma Pix as his Guardian Angel forever.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:30am.  A luncheon will follow.  Pixie’s memorial bench will be located at Hemenway Park by the tennis courts later in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in her name to the Boulder City Animal Shelter.  It would make her so happy to care for the animals left behind. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
