Sydney Beatriz Caulford

Sydney Beatriz Caulford age 26 of Mesquite Nevada passed away tragically on October 26th, 2025. She was born Sydney Beatriz Quezada on July 26th, 1999 to Sirena Abbott Tafili & Martin Quezada in St. George UT.

She grew up in Mesquite where she was involved in dance, gymnastics & volleyball throughout the years. She attended virgin valley high school & graduated class of 2017. After graduation she began working as a bank manager for Nevada bank and trust then in 2022 she changed courses in life & landed a job as a head bud tender at deep roots harvest here in mesquite where she made life-long friends & impacted everyone she met, you never seen her without a smile on her face or a kind word to say. She was a girls girl, she loved music, shopping & makeup she had girls begging for a chance to get their makeup done by her.

Her greatest love & most treasured accomplishment came on January 9th, 2019 when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Luna Hope. Sydney has always said that she was proud of a lot of things in her life but nothing beat being Luna's Mama, she loved her funny faces, non-stop laughs, cuddles & her silly dance moves. On April 20th, 2022 she married Zachary Sean Caulford, the three of them lived in Spokane Washington for a short time after Luna was born but eventually came back to mesquite to be closer to their families. Family meant everything to Sydney, she was the oldest of five who she loved and protected till this day.

We will all miss her laugh, her love, her smile, her selflessness & willingness to help not only her family but anyone that crossed her path. She was truly an angel here on earth and will continue to be one in heaven.

She is survived by her husband Zachary Caulford, Her daughter Luna Hope both of Mesquite NV, Her mother Sirena (Jesse Valdez) Tafili of Mesquite, Her father Martin (Jessica) Quezada of Henderson Nv. Two sister Jayde Tafili of Mesquite & Tiana (Kellen Dugan) Tafili of Hastings Nebraska. Two brothers Keyan Abbott & Dayvion Mendoza of Mesquite & Her Grandfather Martin Quezada of Teocaltiche Jalisco Mexico & many uncles aunts & cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Perry & Cherryl Abbott & Her Grandmother Beatriz Quezada.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 5-7 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center 100 N Arrowhead Lane Mesquite, NV. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10-10:45 am with funeral service starting at 11:00 and burial at the Mesquite Cemetery (Hillside).
