Timothy David Sachse

Timothy David Sachse, 62, passed away in his sleep on July 13, 2026.

Tim was born on September 1, 1963, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Rebecca Ann Williams. He spent his earliest years in Conyers, Georgia, before moving to Vincennes, Indiana, with his grandparents, the late Jack and Mary Catherine Sachse, who later adopted and raised him. After graduating high school, Tim proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He returned to Atlanta in 1984, and in 1997 he married Christie Lynch. Tim adopted Christie’s son, Nicholas, and together they had a daughter, Amanda. The family moved to Destin, Florida, in 2000, where Tim lived until this summer.

Tim had a quick wit and a warm sense of humor. His good nature and generous spirit were infectious and brought light to everyone around him. He was not materialistic and found his greatest joy in giving to others. Generous with his time, resources, and love, he donated regularly to various charities and made sure no one felt forgotten. He never missed a birthday or Christmas and always reached out to say “I love you.” He had a sharp mind and a natural talent with electronics, earning the nickname “Radioman” in the 90s for his car stereo business. Most importantly, Tim was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who thanked God daily for his blessings. He lived a happy life of gratitude and appreciation.

In his final days, Tim packed up and moved to Arizona to be closer to his daughter Amanda and her family as they built their life together. Though he may not meet his future grandchildren, they will always know how deeply he wanted to be near them.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Heath Johnson; his son, Nicholas Sachse; his sisters, Terica Grimes and Katrina Ivey (Rhon Cope); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
