Torri Haney

October 7, 1953 — April 18, 2020

Boulder City

Torri Lyn Haney, age 66, of Boulder City, NV passed away at her home surrounded by her family on April 18th, 2020. She was born in Pasadena, California on October 7, 1953, to Robert and Christine (Dickens) Martincek. Torri Martincek attended Rim of the World High School (class of 1971) in Lake Arrowhead, California. Torri graduated from San Bernardino Valley College as a Registered Nurse. She worked as Director of Nursing at Mountains Community Hospital for many years. Torri married Stephen Haney on March 5, 1977 in Twin Peaks, CA. They began their family a year later in Lake Arrowhead, CA where they lived for twelve years.  They moved to Boulder City twenty-nine years ago.

Torri's three children, Brian, Megan, and Michael (the twins) were her life. She was a devoted mother who gave up her nursing career to raise her children at home. Torri never missed a chance to make a memory or take an adventure with her children. As her children grew, Torri spent a lot of her time volunteering and helping in the community. Another great joy for Torri was becoming a grandma to her three grandchildren. Torri was known for her big heart and always showing everyone she met love, kindness, and acceptance.

Torri is survived by her son Brian Haney, grandchildren Payton and Daniel; daughter Megan (Justin) May grandchild Chayson; son Michael (Rebecca) Haney; sister Marcie Gibson; brothers Gary, Larry, Michael Martincek; and special nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and safety precautions, no funeral services are being allowed.  Burial will be private at a later date. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
