Victor Herbert Casey, Sr., 93, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at his residence in Mesquite, Nevada. Born March 6, 1932, in Marion, Indiana to Herbert Freel Casey and Mildred Bernice nee Burden. He married Andrea Marie nee Pettiford on May 17, 1986.
Though Victor was born in Indiana, at the age of 6, he moved with his family to his paternal grandparents dairy farm in Idlewild, Michigan. Returning to Indiana at age 14, he completed his education before entering military service at the age of 20. He retired from the USAF as a Flight Engineer after his last assignment in Japan, with 20 years of service. He continued his career as an Aircraft Mechanic, with the Federal Aviation Administration, in Anchorage, Alaska, where he retired with 18 years of service.
In 1996, Victor dedicated his life to Jehovah God, and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. As a servant in the Christian Congregation, he enjoyed speaking with others about God’s Kingdom and sharing the wonderful promises that lie ahead. He was grateful to be an integral part of “making disciples” in obedience to Jesus’ command to do so. As a faithful servant of Jehovah, he continued to be active in the public ministry, three (3) days prior to his passing. This was the real service he most enjoyed and cherished.
Victor loved, enjoyed and had many fond memories of his family, friends, childhood, and working on the family dairy farm. At an early age, and the eldest son, he was given responsibilities that contributed to his being a hard worker and provider for his family. He has been remembered as a humble, kind, caring and generous person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Andrea; sons, Victor Jr. (Diana) and Stephen Sr., both of Alaska; Vincent Sr. (Marina), North Las Vegas; daughters, Tanya, Los Angeles; Lesa (Gregory Sr.) Andrews and Cherryl Lynn, both of Alaska; 26 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Teresa Barlow; grandson, Vincent K., Jr.; great great grandson Ermias Barlow; sisters, C. Denise Nukes and Marilyn Casey; brothers, Vincent H. and Gerald D. Casey.
A memorial service will take place Sunday, February 8, 12:30 p.m. PST, at 150 W. Virgin Street, Bunkerville Nevada and via teleconference.
