William (Bill) L. Inman, 86, passed June 20, 2026, in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born January 10, 1940.
Bill was drafted in 1960 into the USA Army, serving 24 years before retiring as a W3 in 1984. He was in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th special forces, and was awarded the Bronze Star twice, the Purple Heart three times, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Meritorious Service Medals and the Combat Infantry Badge amongst others. After his initial retirement, his next careers were in real estate, and golf course management. After, his final retirement, and moving to Mesquite, Nevada, he became active in the Elks Club and served as an Exalted Ruler and secretary. He was a cofounder of the Christian Community Church and served as a one of their Deacons. Bill loved GOD, his country, his family, dogs, golf, the Chiefs and traveling, especially, “his backyard”, the Southwest Grand Circle.
Survivors, includes his wife, Ann Inman, his son Kyle Inman, his daughters, Kassi Keane, (preceding Bill’s death in 2017), Christina Inman, stepdaughter, Kathryn LoFranco and son in law, Ryan LoFranco,, stepson, Joseph Baribeau, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held August 22, 2026, at the Christan Community Church, 233 Sandhill Boulevard, Mesquite, Nevada, at 1PM. Bill’s internment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, date pending. Bill wanted to be with “his band of brothers”.
