To Karen's family - I am so sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I grew up with Karen in Las Vegas, we went to the same church and schools. We did sleep overs at each other's homes when we were young. I remember that she would cook us grits for breakfast; I had never had them before. Karen had a great sense of humor, she was a lot of fun and a great friend. Even though we lost touch over the years, I always have and always will consider her a true friend. Looking forward to reconnecting in heaven.

I knew Karen when she lived in Las Vegas, NV over 40 years ago. We played together from time to time. I am sorry to hear of her passing. May your hearts be filled with love for the joy she shared. Bless you all. I do have a funny story about a time we played together. Let me know by e-mail if you are interested. We were about 11 or 12.

I am so very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. We were BFF's for many years growing up in Las Vegas ... I have lots of great memories of our crazy adventures together. She was a spitfire and always SO much fun!! I remember that great smile and her adventurous spirit. She came to Utah to be my maid of honor in 1978 and then we gradually lost touch, and the years rolled by. I've thought of her often over the years, and so wish we had connected again. Karen will always have a special place in my heart - I love you dear friend! Rest in peace beautiful Karen.

I don't know many people that could light up a room with their smile like Karen did. You always knew when you were with her it was going to be a good time. Sad to have her leave us so soon. One of my favorite cousins ❤️❤️
